![]() ![]() ![]() Made from PCTG plastic, with a 4.5ml e-liquid capacity, magnetic base, and taking PnP coils, these Pods are not something we haven’t seen before. You’ll get one Pod in the box, which is identical to the Pods used in the Drag S and Drag X, in fact they’re the same used in the Drag Max also. On the bottom is a knurled rounded section that kind of looks like you should be able to unscrew it to insert an external battery, but it doesn’t it’s pure styling, and I’m assuming is keeping up with the styling of the Argus X which does in fact use an external battery. The screen is the very much the same, I don’t notice any difference, with some up/down buttons below that, and a USB Type-C charge port covered by a small silicone cover. The front is very similar to the Drag S with the exception of a rectangular fire button instead of the original ’round’ one on the Drag S. The same airflow adjustment is back again with a similar small lever that slides around opening up an airflow slot on each side of the device. It’s functional, but a little annoying if you don’t use it having it flapping around as it does. Up top, the same Pod recess has made another appearance, it’s identical to the Drag S, with it’s circular contact points, and round PnP Pods.Īlongside, you’ll find a little belt ring, included I’m guessing so that you can hang the Argus Pro from your belt, or lanyard if you so wish. It’s really comfortable, but with a little more going on. There’s a shaped bezel that runs around the back section, with a recessed leather padded heel, adding a little more style than we saw on the Drag S, and providing a little bit of a different feel in the hand. The main body, while not dissimilar, has changed, with a little more metal, and although it might just be an illusion, seems to feel a little heavier. It still looks very much like a Drag S, but now with a little more black and a few gimmicky little additions. The Argus Pro is quite an attactive looking unit, with it’s sleeker lines and less bulky body shape. The Argus Pro directly relates to the original Drag S being that it has an internal battery, and the Argus X to the Drag X due to its use of an external 18650 battery. The new Argus Pod Mods are a little more sporty looking with their black frame (instead of silver) with sleeker lines, making them a little more streamlined, and not quite as bulky as the original Drag Pod Mods.Īnother thing to note is the obvious outdoorsy look to them, with rubber surrounds around the POD, belt clip on on the top edge, and cover for the USB port, the new Argus’s are designed to be a little more rugged than their Drag Pod Mod cousins. With the Argus Pro most likened to the Drag S, and the Argus X the same to the Drag X that was previously released. As I mentioned, the product names and time-frame that they’ve been released is a little confusing, but I like to think of the Argus range as a slightly upgraded Drag Pod Mod range. ![]()
